30 outstanding products receive the Design Plus Award 30 products, which stand out because of their combination of innovative materials, successful design and intelligent functionality, will receive the Design Plus Award at the forthcoming Material Vision in Frankfurt am Main from 22 to 23 November. The eminent jury were able to make their choice from a total of 175 submissions from 20 countries. The prize winners come from Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, the Netherlands, Sweden and Belgium. Messe Frankfurt's Design Plus Award will be conferred for the second time at Material Vision. Responsibility for running the competition lay once again in the hands of the German Design Council. The prizes will be presented during Material Vision on 22 November at 5 p.m. in the Forum Messe Frankfurt. All the winning products can be viewed in the Special Design Plus Area at Material Vision. The catalogue contains pictures and product information, as well as details of manufacturers and designers. It is available here. Material Vision takes place on 22 and 23 November 2007 in the Forum Messe Frankfurt. On both days, some 60 leading companies in the materials industry will be showcasing the whole spectrum of modern materials and material technologies. For the first time, Material Vision will be held as part of the nanotech+material week frankfurt (20 – 23 November 2007, Frankfurt am Main). Under this title, Material Vision, ‘Nanotechnologieforum Hessen’, ‘NanoSolutions’ and the ‘Chemical Nanotechnology Talks’ will offer a centralised platform for manufacturers, developers and potential end users of nanotechnology and new materials.
